TIM, the Threat Identification Manikin, is a life-size, hyper-realistic 2D training target built for force-on-force and scenario-based firearms training.

Unlike paper targets taped to a wall, TIM mounts vertically on a portable stand so instructors can place a realistic subject in doorways, hallways, rooms, vehicle scenarios, and other real-world environments.

Constructed from impact-resistant polycarbonate with second-surface printing and a protective backing, TIM is designed for repeated use with marker-round platforms such as Simunition, UTM, and Byrna.

Interchangeable threat and no-threat overlays, including a coffee cup, wallet, belt badge, and neck badge, allow instructors to quickly change the context of a scenario. Officers must observe, identify, communicate, and make the right decision under stress.

Paper targets teach where to shoot. TIM helps teach when to shoot.
